European University Cyprus (EUC) has hosted on 11th April 2014 the new Bloomberg Assessment Test (BAT). The BAT’s main advantage to the participants is their integration in an employment network data system, based on their performance in the test.
The BAT system links the interested employers seeking new talent in the field of finance and investments. In this way, employers are seeking to network with students who have the appropriate profile within their criteria
European University Cyprus is ranked on the BAT results in the top grades for its students from Finance and Investment BBA, while recently, a student at registered in our programme and who participated in the test, has been selected for permanent employment in Société Générale Bank Cyprus. Meanwhile, other students enrolled in this BBA are undergoing intensive internship programmes in top Finance companies in Cyprus, while other EUC students got finance internship offers in London and New York.
Employers in the market, search more and more for students with great results in the BAT and this is not difficult to achieve based on the academic training students receive at EUC, especially through the newly offered Finance and Investment BBA. This new BBA has also major advantages such as the maximum exemptions towards the Charter Banker of UK, further exemptions from ACCA, the Chartered Insurance Institute of U.K., besides a thorough preparation of students to pass the CFA and CISI professional exams.
Additionally, the unique advantage of this BBA is the 16 week Finance Internship course that involves all eligible students and it provides the most needed experience. Students are required now to present CVs with experience in the field of finance, investments, banking in Cyprus so they remain competitive in the job market. Scholarships up to 40% are also available based on the student’s entry criteria and thereafter based on their GPA grades.
