Cyprus Youth Council: Call for participants for the EU Youth Conference of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the EU

Are you a young person aged 18 – 30?
Do you want to represent Cyprus youth abroad?
Do you have an opinion on young people’s issues?
Take part in the Structured Dialogue and claim a place at the Latvian EU Youth Conference!

The Cyprus Youth Council is accepting applications for the selection of the 3 youth delegates, aged 18 to 30 years, that will represent Cyprus to the EU Youth Conference that will be held in Riga, Latvia on 23 – 26 March 2015.The EU Youth Conference will be held under the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the EU and will focus on Youth Empowerment for political participation.The EU Youth Conference will bring together hundreds of young delegates and policy makers from all EU member states, to discuss and express their concerns within the framework of the Structured Dialogue with young people.

Structured Dialogue with young people and youth organizations, is a European process that voices the concerns of youth on the issues that concern them. For more information on Structured Dialogue please click HERE.

Basic eligibility criteria are
a) Very good command of English and
b) the active involvement in the process of Structured Dialogue, either by having completed the relevant e-questionnaire here http://europa.eu/youth/sd, or by having participated in the public consultations that took place in Larnaca, Limassol (Kyvides), Paphos and Agros.

Priority will be given to applicants that did not take part in previous EU Youth Conferences.
