What is sustainable development? These words are used often, and you can now participate in a one day field trip to learn more about this important Global issue. We get out of the classroom; we understand these concepts though a field trip to the village of Agros. It is a change to see local communities and their efforts to develop sustainably, as well evaluate a Development Project implemented in Cyprus more than 40 years ago.
This stand-alone one day activity gives you the opportunity to experience the rural area of Pistilia where in groups consisting of your friends and classmates, you will complete tasks through a full day of seeing, talking and thinking.
Students will be equipped with academic knowledge with the latest in Development, including, Positive Deviance and environment.
