Μας αρέσουν, δεν μας αρέσουν, τα ελληνικά τραγούδια είναι μέρος της ελληνικής και κυπριακής πραγματικότητας. Παίζουν παντού:
- στα ραδιόφωνα,
- στα μαγαζιά,
- στα κέντρα διασκέδασης,
- στα κομμωτήρια,
- στα σχολεία,
Παντού! Έχουν ωραίο και ανεβαστικό ρυθμό και στίχους «που μένουν», αλλά έχουμε πραγματικά σκεφτεί τι ακριβώς «λένε» οι στίχοι; Και αν τα τραγούδια ήταν στα αγγλικά με αγγλικούς στίχους;
Το σίγουρο είναι ότι θα μας παρεξηγούσαν ακόμα περισσότερο οι ξένοι!
1Τσαλίκης – “Το ραβασάκι”

Τα ελληνικά τραγούδια είναι τόόόόσα πολλά, που πρέπει να μεταφραστούν στα αγγλικά για να θαυμάσουν και οι ξένοι αυτούς τους “βαθυστόχαστους” στίχους! 🙂
P.S. Ας μην τα ισοπεδώνουμε όλα όμως. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι όταν αυτά τα τραγούδια παίζουν στο club, όλοι σηκωνόμαστε να χορέψουμε!
